Wellesley 1952: Send in news!

Wellesley Class of 1952
Dear Friends,

I am delighted to be your class secretary again and look forward to being in touch with all of you over the next five years. I want to share your news with our classmates - what you have been doing and also how you spend your leisure time. Please don't send news of your children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren unless they are part of something you are doing, e.g., a trip or your birthday celebration. The rest of us want to read about how remarkable you are at 86/87, not your great-grandchild crawling around on the floor. Don't be modest in sharing your stories with the rest of us - your life's stories are as interesting as any written in a best-selling book. Tales exchanged at reunion in June are witnesses to how many various ways we spend our time. I can't make up the class notes, so please help me with your story. My notes are due September 1st so please send me your news as soon as you receive this email - nanrat@bellsouth.net.

Also send pictures for the Magazine - of just yourself or of a mini-reunion with classmates - to magazinephotos@wellesley.edu. And I have been collecting everything Wellesley that comes through the mail for our scrapbook I'll make for our 70th reunion. So send pictures for that also - can be anything you want: with family or something you have made, whatever. It would be good if you are in the picture with your accomplishments. I'll include what you send - I can print your pictures sent via email or you can send them snail mail. The rest of the class wants to see and admire your talents. My home address is: 319 South 31st Ave., Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
So for now, I'll hush and let you have time to send me your news. In closing, I want to thank Gertie for her dedication as class secretary over the past five years. This position takes time but is very rewarding so we all can stay in touch.
Cheers - Nan Ratliff
